Very cool! I notice they don't get good conversion from their Facebook advertising, yet their Like button is buried way at the bottom of the page. I sent them an email suggesting they enlarge the button and put it above the fold so people see it right away.

I could see this business taking off for them.

Hi, we're the ones running this. I just noticed a hit from thefastlaneforum.com to the site, so decided to check out what's happening here. Yes FB ads haven't been working well yet, but we are still newbies when it comes to advertising there. We have tried several different targeting options, but haven't played around with the ad copy itself much. The best targeting we found was to target people that like other Japan-related ecommerce sites.

A site I like is Pat Flynn's SmartPassiveIncome.com. A while ago he featured a guest blogger who specializes in Facebook advertising. It's a really good read. Check it out at Beyond Free Traffic – A Paid Advertising Strategy That Works

Thanks, the idea in that article to check YouTube viewer stats to understand demographics was a good one.

Hi Bemmu and welcome to the forum. Maybe you can offer other memberships like a 6 month membership for $135.00 and a yr membership as well.

Hey thanks for the recommendation Amail. I'd never heard of Pat Flynn before; looks like he has a pretty cool site, going to check it out.

(Edit - I watched one of his videos on niche selection and I'm not impressed, haha)

Check out the guy's monthly earnings reports. He's got a lot of irons in the fire, and he's making pretty good scratch.

Yeah I noticed that too. I could be completely wrong about the guy, but from watching his video on niche research and looking at his monthly earnings, I'd say that he's not *doing* what he's *teaching*.

Kinda the same thing that MJ talks about regarding Suze Orman, David Bachman, and the gurus that preach "get rich slow"; that's what they teach but that's not how they're making their money.
