    Default website clone scripts

I am interested in building a site life fiverr for arguments sake.

Instead of programming a new site from scratch I can buy the clone script and adjust it to suit my needs.

what do you think about this method?

Sure why not, its a cheap way to get a minimum viable product off the ground and test the idea.

It wont be perect, there will probably be features you want that it wont have but you can probably get a developer to customise the script instead of building one from scratch to save money. Once the idea is proven and youve got revenue coming in, then invest in getting a custom site made.

Atleast thats how im doing it.

It's how I used to start my sites way back when. Focus on selling first, before you buy the script though...
They do what they do because everyone else, they see, is doing it too. The American hunting tribes, for example, whose organization so puzzled our observers, never formed a State, for there is no way to reduce a hunter to economic dependence and make him hunt for you.

even though I will be using a clone script it will not be a cloned site, it will have major differences.

I need the site/script before i sell anything, what does a script sell for these days?

depends on the quality and demand, I have gotten a couple for $20.00 and paid over $800 for another. So somewhere around those numbers.

Make sure to research for public exploits that can be used on the clone script. I remember buying a MP3 script and it got defaced shortly after, so I ended up creating my own.

Even if you are planning on cloning a site, I would still brush up on your programming or hire outside help if needed. As far as the programming structure goes, it is possible to simply use existing code, but you will want to make sure that it is up to date and is compatible with the latest version of html/xml or whatever.

Having up to date code will make upgrading and program integration much easier and allow you to better maintain your site.

It's a pretty good idea just make sure the programming is quality, beware of script that seems like a steal, because most of the time the code will be old or shoddily programmed. If you have faith in your programming skills, by all means this is a great idea.

    Good luck!
