i tried to find some concrete data but couldent find anything. Does anyone have any testing data on which side is better?
I have user testimonials and user benefits.
Right now benefits are on right hand side with simple check marks and testimonials are on left. Is every site different or is there a right or wrong way to do it.

The eyes naturally move from the top head line, to the right side of the page, and then down from there. So a bottom right corner is a pretty good base to start. After that you can test what is better with split testing.
