    Default Lead management software

Can anyone recommend any CRM lead software they have had a positive experience with?

Looking for the key feature of being able to forward leads to external clients via email or similar.

    Any suggestions most welcome

Hire a coder to do it for you. You can set up the parameters for what your buyers want and automatically notify them when a lead comes in.

I think SugarCRM (open source) can do this for you @ SugarForge: Open Source CRM, SugarCRM, Sugar CRM

Our developer modded whmcs to manage clients & automate leads. He said it was kind of a pain, but it works. =)

How deep do you need the leads to be? I was selling emails, names, phones to a big name biz guru on the radio a couple months ago. I was getting about $5 per lead. Of course if you are selling to accident attorney or something you can get over $100.

    Thanks for the input guys

SugarCrm looks like it has potential. I will need to hire some programmers to edit it slightly it looks like a solid building block.

The leads will be fairly detailed around 10 parameters in all + personal contact info. I hope to get somewhere between $5-$20 per lead still undecided how much is fair for both parties.

Personally, I do not like to use software. It might save you time but the quality of the leads might not be too high and it will be useless in the long run. Better to invest time to build up your leads list than to generate a list rapidly but not be able to get any conversions from them. Think about it.
