Hey all!

I'm just curious - with all the phone apps out there, is there a way to copy it and alter it to your own? Specifically, I'm most interested in the apps such as Kik, TextPlus, etc. in which you can connect with users by texting.

Even if it is not a phone application, is there a way to set up a system in which you give an existing cell phone a masked number and have ppl communicate through the masked number? Essentially it's what the application textplus is, but if there's a need for an app or not is the main thing.

Just a thought in my mind and seeing where it can go based on the answers received! Hoping to hear good news so I can rev up my fastlane
