I've been using Paypal since the late 90s and have never had a problem with them.

I would offer both if you can, just to give your customers more options. However, I've been using PayPal Payments Pro for my Houston Screen Print - Custom T Shirts - 832-221-8413 business since 2005 without any problems.

The main reason I like PayPal is because of cash flow. Every business needs cash flow and with PayPal and their debt card, I can withdraw up to $400 each day from any sales I do. That is generally enough for me to purchase blank t-shirts so I can print a customer's order. I actually have 2 cards, one for me and one for my wife, so my daily limit is $800.00.

And the reason this works, is because as soon as you run a credit card transaction using PayPal, the money is immediately available. With a regular merchant account and a payment processor you generally have to wait 2 days for Visa and Mastercard transactions to hit your bank account and 3 to 4 days for American Express transactions. While some people are ok with that, I like to have my money in hands as quickly as possible.
