Default My Book Offered as an ebook

OK I took my book and have now today just gotten the pdf format of my published book and was thinking of selling it now as an ebook. I have the site and the resources to do this. There are a few things I wanted to ask here and see if I could get some feedback.

First off the book was published about 6 years ago, about 2 years after I wrote it so it was 8 years ago when I actually penned it. The book is about hunting and growing up in Maine. It's 200 pages long.

    Some questions I have are:

    1) How should I determine pricing

    2) Would it be worth advertising online or just through word of mouth...

    3) Maybe I could offer this as an affiliate program. Provide a flat rate per sale to those who sell my book?

    4) We plan to update some of the information in the book since it is outdated. We want to offer the original copy but then possibly offer a revised version. Not sure how that would go over. I don't see people really buying 2 copies just to get the revision. It's not like I am Stephen King or anything.

Anyway, is there anyone who has turned their own book into an ebook and tried selling it online? How did it go?

Can I be honest with you, after writing and selling lots of ebooks myself (giving alot of them away for promotional purposes) Ebooks that sell are written to provide a solution to a problem, an answer to a question. 99% of the time, if an ebook isn't written about this, then it's not going to do well at all, no matter how good the actual book is written. The types of ebooks people buy are stuff like: "How to lose ten pounds in 10 weeks" or "how to get 2000 visitors to your site daily" stuff like that. People don't generally get ebooks for reading pleasure, but to get something done. I hope that helps.

That's true what TJ said. You could sell it on amazon and offer it for download to their kindle.
