I don't know much about that industry but from what you posted, I like the idea.
Go for it!
Here is an idea I was thinking of pursuing. I am looking for loopholes in it. Why not be a content broker? What I mean by this is everyone wants to make money. Why not have it so people would come to me with their written content. I would then turn around and find someone to buy the article for their online magazine, website etc. I know people are looking for content all the time.
Then just as a real estate broker I would only get paid if I sold the article. Let's say 20%.
So I get hooked up with all these companies, websites, who know I will be bringing them content to choose from. Then let's say they buy the article for $25, I then receive my $5 and the author receives $20.
Then let's say I did this on a large scale and had it set up so it was someone automated and was selling hundreds of articles per day. So let's say I was able to sell roughly 300 articles per day, I would be looking at:
$5 x 300 articles = $1500/d
$1500 x 30 days = $45,000 per month
$45,000 x 12 months = $540,000 per year

$25 is a lot to pay for an article, at least in my industry (affiliate marketing/IM)
You'll have to find high-end clients. REALLY high-end clients.
Please elaborate- who do you think will buy your content?
25 bucks is real high for writing content. I think real prices are much lesser. Haven't been into this space so I'm not sure but check out Warrior Forum about such thing, getting content written is pretty cheap.
I make Book Covers - simplistic and good-looking.
