Bobo, just for you, and because I know you guys already took the challenge last year

some of the pdf files are here temporarily... I will remove this in the next day or so... I am not sure if the 30DC guys are OK with me putting this out there so I will get rid of it as soon as you get them

P.S. I also have a few videos, but no way I am putting those up there... youtube should have most if not all of them.

I think we're gonna wait until 30DC 2009 to start next week as we want to have an LLC in place so we can write-off any expenses such as Web Development, Market Samurai, etc.

Chuck- I have the PDFs as well, but we're gonna be in PHX for the weekend looking at homes

I'm doing 30 day challenge 2009 as well. What do you guys think about putting up a 2009 30 DC thread so we can post updates, keep each other motivated, etc etc.

For those of you who have done the 30 day challenge, what sort of budget and time commitment should be allotted for that?

I went through it with Yves, ATW, and WildAmbitions. I was late to the party. I think I did it all in about 2 weeks. Some days I worked 8-10 hours on it and then not work on it for a couple of days. I think you could go through it in about 1-2 hours a day.

I'll be starting a few days late(thursday I think). All in all do you think it was worth it? Did you learn alot about internet marketing(I believe that is what it is about, correct?)

I think you will learn more than you ever thought you could. Even though it is a beginners class I am certain I could do it again and learn even more. I took what I have learned and started my online business with it.

I will say that he makes it sound a LOT easier than it is. Make no mistake about it, internet marketing is work. It is not a get rich quick scheme.

Another tip, Ed is a great guy for putting all this knowledge out there. He does ramble on his videos. I watched 2-3 of them and he drove me crazy. Yves told me the trick, read the PDF files and follow the instructions. Only watch the vids if you have to so you can clear any misunderstandings up.

One other tip, please, do not take what you learn and then go out and spam a bunch of forums. I don't think that is what he teaches but a lot of people are doing it.

Hehe! Thanks for the information Runum. No I couldn't ever consider my self one to spam forums. I strongly believe the the foundation to a solid business is repeat business through quality information and customer interaction. If your doing quality work, there's no need to get cheap spam traffic.

In my humble opinion... Create a personal bond with a customer and you'll have them for life.

Monday is the pre-season kickoff, not sure if that's officially Day 1 of 30. Either way, I think an official Fastlane thread would be great or even on the 30DC Forum we can start a team called "TFTM" of "Fastlaners".

Greg- remember what MJ says, get rich quick does exist, get rich easy is a different story, in the case of doing 8-10hr days on internet marketing activities I'm sure using the right tools and working smart with those 8-10hrs anyone on this forum would earn more in one year than they do at their j-o-b, lol, I know I would

But of course that would involve probably going 1-2 months without a paycheck and working on that exponential money bomb graph versus the flat line of a base salary with a measly 3-5% bonus at year's end

Thanks for the feedback. I signed up this past season but didn't work on it because I didn't budget the time for it. I think I will do it again, but I need to make more of a commitment when I do.

Are there any costs besides domains and hosting?

There is always the optional stuff that you can buy. Market Samurai is one of them. Good luck.

Can we merge this thread with the 30DC 2009? And an update: Ed has re-vamped the entire challenge for this year, all new information regarding market research.

Good luck everyone and I also have a FaceBook group for Fastlane 30DC'ers that is private. If you want to be part of that group, PM me with your FB link and I will invite you. The only prerequisite is doing the 30DC and being a FL member too. Lots of helpful notes from past participants.
