    Default ppc vs. traffic generators.

Has any one used Go daddy's traffic blazer service. From an economic standpoint it seems like a good deal I am considering purchasing their premium service.

I am currently using Google adwords but it is becoming very expensive. I am getting a low conversion rate. this may be due to my landing page.

Godaddy offers traffic blazer with thier traffic ananlyzer plus a 5000 email campaign for 70.00 bucks a year. that is less than one month of PPC with adwords.

I just want to know what results have people got from this service or something similar.

Never tried Godaddy, but it sounds like you're getting slapped by Google for not have a high quality score.

    General rule:

1 main keyword per adgroup >>> split test ads that use the keyword as many times as possible >>> dedicated landing page optimized for that keyword

This will improve your quality score, lower your cost and improve your conversion rate.

this video is worth watching, you can skip about the first 12 minutes:

I had a few minutes to check out a few other vids and learn more about Stompernet. I have known about them before, but not in depth because everytime I searched for something about them they always pulled that "our membership is closed" crap. So I immediately forgot about them (lesson there for those who have membership services).

I googled some reviews about them and that's when I found the fees. lol

800 bucks a month. For that price I would think you'd be better to pay for one on one mentoring. I know people who'd mentor ebiz info for that price. Granted it would be a low amount of hours per week (prob 1 or 2), but they'd give you projects and tell you to come back and see me next week.

Split test; Split test; Split test!!!

This is how I do it...
    1) I use a program called Tracking202. http://www.tracking202.com
    2) Throw out a broad set of related keywords in one adgroup in Yahoo. I prefer Yahoo because Google will rank your "account" based on it's performance, typically you don't want to screw up. Yahoo doesn't have the volume of Google, but the conversion rate should be higher.
    3) Using T202, find out which keywords are converting for your site.
    4) Reconfigure your adgroups with the converting keywords in mind.
    5) Converting keywords = Increase in CTR = Lower price you pay = More conversions.

    Hope this helps.

I have over forty keyword phrases listed with google. My godaddy tracker software shows me that about five of them are conversions to CPC bUt I only have 9 hypothetical sales. If i eliminate the least performing keyword will that help lower my CPC or just my my total because of low quality keyword Click throughs.

I'm pulling out the non performing ones (2 clicks or less now)

I'm in the top ten on the search engine itself on two of them but why arent my ads up?

maybe becasue I deleted two variaitons it may take a few to straighten itself out. I'll check back tonight.

I haven't used GoDaddy's traffic blazer, but have used some other 'traffic' services. From what I found, you'll get a much lower conversion rate from those sources than Google PPC.

Before you start driving a whole bunch of traffic - establishing a baseline conversion for your landing pages is crucial. I recommend utilizing Google WebOptimizer to test, test, test. Best of all, it's FREE!

Then you need to really start tweaking and fine tuning your PPC campaigns. The Stompernet video is a great resource. I'll bet you have a bunch of keywords that are inefficient, or are not using negative keywords. Also keep in mind the quality scoring - is your page really relevant? Is your CTR decent?

Best of luck! Once you get the PPC formula down, it becomes really easy to scale.

    thanks.

I have paused my google adwords account.

What i have found is 4% of all impresssions click to my site.

And 4% of those that click to my site hypotheitcally buy.

I'm considering another structure for my landing page to have customers opt in thier email for tips inside and start a newsletter. But this won't happen til after the book is done.

I know of a successful company that uses this technique whose demographics are similar to mine.

I think it will increase my closing rate.
