A little bump here just to say that I also have things like the full set of figures from - A Christmas Story -, all still in their original packaging. I'm assuming you guys know how to sell well, any advic?

I have tons, TONS, of Star Wars figures. I really want to buy one of those new GoPro camera's but with extra side money and not money from my job because I want to use that money on necessities. Like most people who start ebay, they look around their house and find something that screams dollar signs. I really want to make some money, and I know I could with these figures, but should I just wait until the new Star Wars comes out in the future when everything spikes?
I have zero idea as to how this market works so any help would be awesome.
The figures I have are early 90's, red cards (if you know anything about those figures, red cards, which is the cardboard card color, those are harder to find). When I was around 14/15 I'd save up and just buy the entire case of figures online so I didn't have to go to stores and collect each on lol.

I would wait until the movies come out if you want peak dollars. I always start my eBay at $.99, no reserve, and at least 3 pictures, and very detailed. Also answer questions immediately. EBay works well if you can get people to get in bidding wars, and it happens more than you would believe. I have sold used items for more than a new one, simply because of people wanting to "win". I would also do trial runs, sell a couple first and see how it works. It seems that people hate when there is a reserve, and the $.99 starting point is to get people to bid on it multiple times and watch it. You want people to watch/bid so when they come back a few days later it will be in their recent history area and they will remember your listing. Otherwise they will probably just research and find a different listing.

Good point! You know, it seems like they don't sell as much as they used to. That, or the prices have not gone up. I remember 6 years ago seeing something go for 2K and that seemed like a boat load, but it hasn't gone up at all.
What would you guys think of buying the classic figures
Such as - Return of The Jedi Complete Vintage Figure Set x29 WOW | eBay
And reselling them once the new movie hits? That seems like a freaking steal, if you guys know anything about figures!
