Default Creating a Buzz on a Budget

Check out this video on how to create a buzz on a budget. Many good ideas. One that I like in particular is running contests on your social media pages and your website. I plan on doing that on mine. Most likely an entry for every "like" on facebook and an entry for every product purchased.

I actually just posted this article on another thread, but it definitely applies here. You should check it out, because using Likes for a social contest can get your page deleted.

I am not understanding your post.

We built up my fb page to approx 3400 fans with a reach of over 40,000+ and a reach of our fans of over 30%. Now I see how the rules are set up I am sure we can get closer to 50%.

How did we do it? All of it from doing give a ways of our products for sharing our page and for getting friends to become our fans. Really not hard to do.

Press releases are a classic and are still a good way if you can get them out to the right source.

"Creating a Buzz on a Budget"? Cheap Chianti?
They do what they do because everyone else, they see, is doing it too. The American hunting tribes, for example, whose organization so puzzled our observers, never formed a State, for there is no way to reduce a hunter to economic dependence and make him hunt for you.

That is a really great list of ideas - a few are really common sense, but most really get you thinking outside of the box. Thanks for posting this!

If I could make a suggestion which will probably increase the reach by approx 25 - 140% more is to require your fan 'Share' the post. We used to only require a like and one day I realized this does not spread the post to all of the persons friends but a Share does.
