Default How To Know If Your Market Is Open Enough?

    Hi Guys,

Ive had some really good feedback from the forum already, so thanks!

    I have another question...

How do you know if the market you want to tap into is viable?

I'm planning to sell a product/s that help someone overcome a health condition.

There are already people in this market who have products teaching VERY SIMILAR information. Not a lot of informational online products though. There are around 5-10 serious/sincere books on Amazon for example. (At this stage i plan to create e-products)

So what questions do you (those who have started and grown a successful business - preferably online) ask yourself on whether the market is viable before getting committing yourself?

There is definitely a NEED in my market... but no one out there is DOMINATING the market from what it looks like.

An example, there was a need in the 'dating for men' market 10 years ago, there were authors out there giving dating advice for men but then a guy like Eben Pagan (David DeAngelo) comes along and DOMINATES it.

However, he has a different slant compared to what was already out there, whereas mine will be pretty darn similar to what out there at the moment.

But I guess its what like MJ says, you dont need to reinvent the wheel you just gotta make it smoother and my greased up.

    Any thoughts, questions, etc ?

    Thanks again,

    Oz
