company name dilemma/help

Yes that is why we are changing it from GamerGripz because it is toooo similar. We are not sure what to do know big GamingGripz is similar to our name but it's not too close

Dude, you are way too stuck on the Gam**gripz. Get away from that name or anything that sounds like it, they won't work. And if they do, you will wish you chose a name that was further apart than them in the future anyway. Go a different route.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm leaning towards something different because of that but a lot of people don't like the names we come up with. We are getting a lot of ideas from gamers but none of them are what we are looking for. My favorite so far is KlutchGripz but gamers didn't seem to like it too much

I hate gaming, have only probably 10 times played any game, and I can tell the name above is weak souce - and that's being kind.

Is Amazon "Book"Whatever?
Is Ebay "Auctions"Whatever?
Is Google "Search"Whatever?
etc.

Get somethig easy to remember and action oriented.

Go to thesaurus and find action words and their variants. Good luck.

klutch is very gamer related. I dont think it is a weak name. I posted a poll on the forums over at Majorleaguegaming.com and KlutchGripz got the most votes and ProGripz was right behind it.

I think Klutch___ is good.

When the iPad was first announced, there were a bunch of folks complaining about how stupid the name sounded. I haven't heard a complaint since the product was a hit - have you? Point is: it's important to Not have a bad name (too similiar, seo issues, etc.) but beyond that, the company and products make the name what it is.
