A smart guy finally figuring out that he was on the wrong end of the equation; the slowlane business model. Since his time was tied directly to income; he was a slave to his business; it owned him.

He never comes right out and says it, but at least he finally figured it out. Took long enough though...

I went through the same exact thought process they went through. Except for me the tipping point was when my firm's smallest SEO package made a client $18,000 one month while we were paid $400 and literally spent more time doing SEO then they did making the money. I ended up selling my firm to some poor sap late last year.

Anyone who's ever been a full-time designer would appreciate this:

Clients From Hell

It pretty much sums up when the "business" sucks.
