Thread: 2012 Beer & Pancakes

OK, folks, here it is: The Official 2012 B&P thread.

Current attendees: 20! (counting MJ)

Dates: Feb 24, 25, 26, 2012

Events on:
Friday Feb 24 (9am-5pm)
Saturday Feb 25 (9am-5pm) and
Sunday Feb 26 (9am-12pm)

Location: (confirmed): Chaparral Suites, Scottsdale, AZ (right next to Firesky, Chaparral is where we went to lunch past 2 years)

Cost: $195 per person.

Lodging: There is NO lodging requirement this year at Chaparal Suites. So stay wherever you'd like.

What is Included for reg fee:

Attendance of events for all 3 days (we're getting the conference room at Chaparal Suites with NO room requirement, and NO Food and Beverage requirement). At least that's the contract I signed . . .

Meals included for the 3 days:
Lunch, and Dinner are included on Friday
Lunch and Dinner are included on Saturday.
NO MEALS on Sunday.

Rental car is not needed if staying at Chaparral Suites or any hotels within a few blocks. All events and meals are within walking distance.

We each share a presentation on the topic of our choice. The topic could be business related or mindset related or surprise us. We also spend time brainstorming solutions if the opportunity presents itself. However, one of the main benefits is to meet some of the colorful personalities here face to face and share ideas with them. It is a very inspiring time.

Russ.... please, please, please. Pick a date. I believe we had a formula (3rd weekend in Feb as I recall).

Because no one really cares about getting a large number of people to the event, it doesn't get a good selling job on here.

I personally kind of like that, it requires a trust of intuition and a small leap of faith, but the best advertising I can give is to tell you that it breaks my heart if I can't attend.

These days it's based, in part, on when/if Biophase (Kenric) can get us a conference room and cheap rooms at Firesky.

The $179/night we spend is a crazy bargain considering the amenities this place has (and everyone else is paying $350-500/night)

So . . . . when Kenric gets a sec, he'll (hopefully) call them and give us some options.

Going to see if Kenric can add a line item for me in the ticket price to pre-pay my post night-out ibuprofen/gatorade/tums/immodium this time around..... No more walking miles to the circleK hungover for me!

I do agree with Jon though, i would be upset if i miss this. Can't wait for the 2012 installment.

this is 8-10 months away.. I've never seen anyone predict their income over that amount of time. You got to have a winners attitude here. Plan to save $1k and come out.

I have brought mine twice. I'd say that if she is a bit interested, it is good for her to come. But if not, we're pretty busy, so spare time is limited.

TED is more cutting edge. We just share what we know, although every so often one of us is cutting edge.
