Default How to and how not to present your business

As fastlaners, it is always good to know how to present our business idea to potential customers or investors.

Two interesting videos on this topic are given below. Hope you would enjoy.

In the below video (I am not going to mention the topic - you need to view it to know it) see how the presenter is building up an otherwise techie topic to make it palatable to a broader audience. He uses his slides in an amazing way too.

Another great presentation - Shows how to transform a boring statistics presentation to an excitingly interesting presentation.

This is one of the topics I do like a lot...

And I work on myself to improve my presentation skills.

You are correct, this is a key ability to develop.

And, speaking of cool presentations, check this one I blogged about today:

Gotta run to work, but I'll have to check this video later today.

As for my .02, watch Dragon's Den to see plenty of examples of "how NOT to" present your business

It's a great show and concept, but it's a lot like American Idol with how they have some of these people that just dive-bomb with what could be a great business concept with an arrogant and overly pushy pitch for their not yet established business, in fact there was one example where the guy tried to negotiate with one of the Dragons without any good evidence to why the Dragon should lower his equity offer and I believe it was Theo and he said "I'm a professional negotiator, you're not gonna win this one"
