Default B&P 09 places to stay

The get together will be held at the Days Inn in Scottsdale. For those of you that attended last year, it is the same venue. We will work hard to ensure that there are plenty of breaks to keep the blood flowing and the rear-ends from hurting.

The following is a link to the website: Days Inn

We are getting a rate of $109/night. Just ask for the Fastlane Meetup/Steve Olafson and specify our dates. Unfortuantely, they only have king beds available for this weekend. I am still waiting for the contract and will edit this post if there are changes.

The following list is simply hotels that are in reasonable proximity to the meeting. We have not reserved any rooms there. They will be subject to market rates and first come, first served.

For the more budget minded, there is the Motel 6 that is fairly close to the meeting room at $85.99 for either king or dual beds. It is between 1/4 and 1/2 mile from the meeting site and should be walkable.

There are also a number of nicer places close by for those snooty types.

Russ, maybe Bob doesn't want you to put your finger on it.

For those that are attending and want a room at the Days Inn. Reservations need to be made by the end of January to ensure availability and price.

I just booked using their online system. The rooms for Wednesday and Thursday were only $99, but Sunday was $139. I was able to book a double/double using this system.

My cost was a bit more, but now I can split a room if my buddy can't make it.

We kinda did the same thing. I saw the difference online and called the hotel. The B&P rate does not start until the 26th (Thursday) but does include Sunday. So I made two individual reservations...
One for Wednesday and Thursday (at $99.99) and then a second for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights (at $109) we also got two double beds.

I should have thought to post this earlier, thanks for the reminder Bflbob!

There are just a few more days to book your rooms for this event.

I talked to my contact about Thursday night being less expensive for a room if it was booked outside of the group. They are looking into adjusting this for us.
