Default Programming code: hiring someone to double check their work

Where do you find someone to check someone's work to make sure the code will be set up correctly. Someone mentioned having this done in the private forum and I wasn't sure what the best route to go would be to do this, or who to talk to. Is there a lot of benefits in having this done?

    Hi Snowbank,

Is this really required? What if you just have some of the end users test a beta version of it comprehensively. They get a spec sheet from you and test every function. If it performs according to spec, no need to check code. The beta testers can also try to break it as well, and their use of the software will generate questions which you can turn into a FAQ or a help file.

I have used RentACoder two times with good results. You need to look at the reputation and feedback of the "Sellers" (of service) before hiring one. To differentiate among the top bidders, I generally ask a few follow-up questions. The answers to those questions will clearly set apart good coders.

    Bump!

Anyone else have suggestions on how to double-check your developer's work?

    Much appreciated!
