Can you folks help me find some websites that are simple and use only one or two colors? A la GOOGLE.COM.

This for example? http://snook.ca/ I remembered this intro page because of it's elegance...
And as always when it comes to web design I recommend http://www.smashingmagazine.com/ Chances are high that you find usefull examples there.

Seems like http://snook.ca/ has a monochromatic landing page, but the link goes to traditional stuff (lots of colors, multiple focal pts, ads, etc):

Or am I missing something here?

No, you are right, it's just the front page. Sorry for the confusion...

Here's a free WordPress theme that fits the bill, I use it quite a bit:

Checks are the most boring purchase you'll ever make for your small business, but if you buy them from your bank, you're paying way too much. Order business checks online and save up to 75% off of bank prices.

No problem-- I know so little about web design I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something important!
I can be very clueless about this stuff . . .

Thank you all for the links.
I was looking for websites with a clear white background and maybe one or two colors for the site banner and the info or sevice offered. I am looking for a homepage that is just as simple as the google homepage. (with a little more info or categories) I'm doing research everyday on this to no avail. It seems like this kind of sites is rare.
Some time ago there was a website of a company that captivated me, I thought I had it saved but for the hell of me I can't find it.
Thanks
