I can't (or couldn't yesterday) reply to the gambling thread. It kept going to a blank screen after I hit post or go advanced

mine asks me if I am sure I want to navigate away from this page... I hit no and tried several times to post quick reply or go advanced. neither of them worked. if I hit yes it took me to a 503 I think forbidden page that said it was required that I log in... I am logged in tho. idk wth is going on! I just wanted to bring it to someones attention... I am going to try to reply to it again and see if its still screwed up.

I know what you mean. I wanted to post an intro thread since one week, but coulnd't do it, because I got this error every time I try it. Tried everything, different browser, copy-paste or normal writting...

Carrie, I posted the likely reason this is happening in the gambling thread -- it is the usage of a censored word (like p0ker, casin0) -- I'd like to remind you that this forum is FREE and because of it, I can't spend, and won't spend (or other mods) hours and hours of my time debugging third-party software. Other than the incidents cited above, I have been unable to duplicate your issue.

Thanks, exactly this word (p0ker) was causing this failure. Never heared of this bug/feature and couldn't find it on google.

it was not my intention to create hours and hours worth of work for you or anyone else... I simply wanted to bring it to your attention... I have not read the gambling thread so I had no idea this was addressed there. I will let you know which word of my previous post wont allow the post to go thru if I can figure it out!

I was not able to figure out which word is causeing it... its something within my post for sure because I tried cuttin and pasting here and it did the same thing...

I have been searching google and so far as I have found with the 403 errors it looks like its a problem with the hosting company and not the vbulletin software....

everyone is blaming hostgator... is that your host for this site? I am still looking for other possibilities...

Do you notice though this "issue" seems only to arise when talking about potentially salacious topics? Gambling, smoking, seducing Latinas ... hmmmm.

yea like I said in a previous post they claim its words or combos or words that your host picks... idk if that possible but that was like all I found when I searched google.
