Ya got me.

I thought the number you'd give us was 4,560 (out of 14,610)

That's the TOTAL number of free days you get in 40 years of working 5 days a week, w/2 weeks of vacation a year. :)

My guess is the amount of days you have been "officially" retired.

Congratulations -- I've got good news and bad news.

The good news? You are right and you win.

How to Make $1,000,000 In One Year – Part 2 | Fastlane Entrepreneurs

The bad news? With the shipping cost to Canada, the book would hardly seem free. If you want the $22.95 discount code, please PM me.

How many times youve read your book.

That very much could be true!!

Yes, if you want a physical copy of the book, you pay for shipping -- the code is for $22.95 off, or if you want a PDF, there is no shipping - but that version is not very readable.

Just doesn't feel right to have to pay shipping for a "free" book I've won, so think I'll pass. You can donate it to a local library if you feel inclined.

He said the BOOK was free, bubba.

Why don't you just pick it up at the B&P?

If you ask nice, MJ might even sign it for you (for free)

In my opinion this marketing gimmick has turned sour.
Clearly MJ should have stated that the shipping cost would have to be paid by the winner, before the contest. Not after the competition was won by jonlee.
I certainly would not have a problem entering a competition like this if it was stated before hand that I had to pay the shipping should I win. But by not making that fact clear until after the contest, it makes the whole competition a bit daft in my opinion.

Agreed, and I see your point and I should have been clearer, however the shipping cost is my actual cost, not some inflated Shipping and "Handling" gimmick price. Additionally, shipping to Canada or overseas costs more than the book itself. Obviously I was not clear in my original post and for that I apologize and in the future, I will be clearer. If you still want the book PM me your Florida address as I will take care of it.

Im not questiong that, but more that once the "error" was done, it would have been wiser to take the cost of shipping yourself. Just like you've done now. That is good customer service :)

Not doing so would have been a violation of my own rules. :coco: Obviously, Jon's customer service expectations were violated in the negative and was it his fault? Nope, it was a failure on my part to assume and not be clear. The "service" failure was on my end, therefore, the correct course of action is easy - fix the problem so expectations match actual, and in the future, correct the policy to ensure this issue doesn't repeat and expectations are not violated again.
