Abdul has another great video in which he explains his feelings of abnormality in a Slowlane/Sidewalk society.

Do you ever feel that way?

After watching the video I'm going to say yes. I moved into my apartment 2 weeks before classes started last semester and during the day I would go to the library to work on my website and read books, before classes had started. They all thought it was weird and kept asking me why I was doing it, and that if you're not studying for school, you need to be smoking weed sitting around doing nothing.

Depends who you surround yourselves with. At first people may say something, but eventually when you rule out all of your non-supportive friends, there won't be anyone left to say anything negative.

I surrounded myself with likeminded people! Now the world looks abnormal haha! Abdul is right though, and I love his videos, he always knows to keep the message simple!

It really depends where you hang out and go to, because all my friends are the same as me.
And I really only go to fancy lounge bars, hotels and restaurants. So if I talk about my business in any of those places they do think it's normal, because most of them have businesses of their own.

In this case I consider myself normal because almost everyone who I talk to or meet has a business.

I feel like that every single day.
Seems like people with the same mindset don't exist in The Netherlands or I don't go to the places where they hang out.
Abdul has another video up where he talks about walking in to the gym early in the morning and seeing a lot of succesful people getting ready for the day with a workout, but when I walk into the gym at 7AM(when it opens) every single day i'm the only person at the gym.

What helps me a lot is following succesful people on social media, reading blogs and reading on this forum.

You are definitely going to the wrong places then, because I live in Amsterdam and I mostly meet and find businessmen or women.

This brought back a ton of memories of feeling like this ALL the time, before I sought out likeminded people. All those incredulous looks when I'd choose extra-curricular learning over hanging out and wasting time.

I really related to his conclusion, specificially about how time spent away from doing what excites you makes you feel like crap. I think it says a lot about mindset when someone uses "work" as an expletive.

On the note of talking about business and being too serious. It seems if you don't want to get wasted and high all of the time or go to parties you are labeled a boring person and you don't like to have fun. As those around me try to drown their sorrows of hating life with alcohol, I'm trying to make sure my life is in check in ten years and I'm not still doing the daily grind.

    I don't feel abnormal.

And even if I was abnormal, I'm still freakin awesome.

When I'm online, I surround myself mostly with immortalists and business people. Wealth has no purpose if you can't be healthy and live a long time.

In the real world, I hardly have any friends if they can't help me with anything. Mostly just talk to my family, since that's all you have in the end of the day in my opinion.

LOL. I've experienced that myself. Telling a "normal" person what you're doing and they think you're crazy and they even sound offended to a point... I learned just to keep it to myself and tell them something that is "normal" even if that's not what I'm doing. This guys knows what's up!

I am actually the other way around. I like it when sidewalkers and slowlaners get uncomfortably because they just don't get it. But the key to make this really enjoyable is if you are already making it (a lot money... because that obv proves your right ).
When i was playing poker for a living 95% of the people i met didn't even believe that it could be profitabel in the longrun and wanted to prove this to me. I just told them as long as i do five figures a month and can sleep till noon every day while getting payed for practising my hobby 4 hours a day i am fine. You should have seen their faces.

I am curious, did you get to prove them wrong?

Only if i took a lot of time explaining to them why they were wrong but most people wasn't interested in hearing this and after some time i also wasn't interested in wasting my time expaining it over and over again. However my family finally understood it.

HOWEVER the only thing that really proved that i was right was the MONEY i made. If you show them your bank statement there is really not a lot they can argue about.

I actually enjoy being abnormal. Being normal is the same as average and usually means boring.

Everyone feels abnormal/special to some degree. I feel nothing, my feelings are irrelevant in life, all that matters are the actions that I take.

The only problem is that I haven't exactly made it yet. Haha. If it was the other way around it would be pretty easy to tell them the truth because then I would be able to back it up.
