I don't think they will get bigger than Mario but I definitely think they are the Mario of mobile/casual gaming. Just like Pixar was the Disney of 3d animation (until Disney bought them and they BECAME Disney lol)

Perfect example of "there's no need here" but they filled it anyway. These "attack the castle"-type games had been around for years but these guys found a better way to deliver it. They struck a nerve and hit their perfect delivery medium with mobile gaming.

absolutely incredible......of all the games out there would anyone ever have predicted those numbers....we need a psychiatrist to deconstruct what makes that game so addictive.

Angry Bird is a beautifully designed simple addictive game. Couple that with superb marketing, you got a WINNER. Game makers on this board, take note.

Thats impressive return on investment. The main reason is that the game is just outstanding and we cannot stop playing angry birds. WOW I never even seen the angry birds game. I am tempted to look at the game but have an addictive personality probably best not to get started. Heck I got addicted to online solitary, you know the one that comes free on every computer ? lol

I actually didn't know Angry birds existed until my friend told me about it last month.

I know I will never have a business like this as investing 130K is a risk I am not interested in taking I also don't really understand the desire to waste so much of your life playing games and being unproductive.
