That is pretty amazing. I love how they tell the story and are totally shocked that they got everything they wanted out of Wal Mart through a Facebook ad and then emails. It shows that with the right effort, you can do anything!
The RIGHT effort is the key. Effort is a vector quantity: it has a direction and a magnitude. Without the direction, effort means nothing, and these guys pointed it into the right direction. Hats off to these guys, and I may pick up an Orabrush myself to combat my stank-ass dragon breath![]()

I agree. You have to focus on your effort and can't just haphazardly put all your effort into something with no direction. We all have to figure out what our RIGHT effort is and go from there.
That's a great story. Thanks for posting, MJ. I think it's important to note what Austin said about the smaller retailers that wanted to meet face to face, have stuff faxed over, etc. I'm guessing that they didn't get Orabrush's business. Walmart on the other hand, made the process easy for the Orabrush guys and they appreciated that.
Awesome Story! Thanks MJ. Definitely an inspiration.
I love this story. I had actually watched this some time back and was looking for this one again. I think this is perhaps a case study in power of outrageous marketing and also how to join the fastlane with product innovations.
I think Stephen Key is perhaps well known for these invention riches.
But definitely great advertising and self promotion. You have to get noticed, people who dont get noticed, dont sell. As simple as that.
Nice, this is the proof you can have success without writing and selling a book.
It's even more amazing that they are managing to sell a separate product for this when you can just brush your tongue with your toothbrush while you're brushing your teeth.
None the less, it's still a good lesson in taking proactive, target action.
