Despite all this, I'm feeling the vast enormity of the situation, of what I'm trying to do. It's no small task, and I have a dearth of good stories of other people doing what I'm doing, particularly with very large industries with well established players.

So, what great inspirational stories do you have about the little guys completely changing an industry in a way that the big players couldn't?

Hello here is some advice I use. Write down what your maximum possible product would look like make this as detailed as possible. Now take this paper and lock it away in a drawer. Do not look at it again for an entire year.

Now create the Minimum viable possible product to get started and go outside and start promoting it and acquiring customers. You don't need stories, or inspiration, or feel good. You just need customers.
