Cannibalizing a marquee's uniqueness was never "in" and is a sign of mental retardation .... like buying a Chrysler 300C and plastering Bentley tags on it bought from Ebay.

next up is the Chrysler Imperial w/ RR badges...

then again I shouldn't talk, my car was dubbed as the "poor man's Ferrari" when it first came out, namely b/c the door ridges that were reminscent of the intake scoops on a Testarossa and oh yea, my dad's old Q45 had a slight resemblence to a Bentley/Jaguar, but neither have anything but Mitsu or Infiniti badges

Same here... I've never been a fan of replicas, knock off parts or people "faking the funk" in general. It seems to cheapen the real thing, which isn't fair to the people who can afford it.

A friend of mine had lambo doors on his car and I begged him to take them off everytime I saw him. They were flimsy and very hard to get in and out of. The door didn't line up with the fender properly because of the hinges either. I'm happy to say I was the first one he called when he needed help removing them.
