Nothing wrong with retiring a millionaire, or with enough to be able to generate your required income into retirement.

Better than the millions of people retiring with close to nothing and leeching off the government. Not to mention the millions of others who are forced to work well past traditional retirement age, not because they want to, but because they have to.

Usually because of their choices in life. 40+ years is more than enough to acquire a nice account for retirement.

    Exactly.

What I tried to get across (but failed to) is that there's this idea that retiring a millionaire is somehow laughable... heck, compared to 99% (lol) of people the accomplishment isn't laughable, it's laudable!
