More importantly... who cares.

Less time worrying about what other people do (unless it concerns a product or service you are trying to sell them), and more time figuring out how to make money or accomplish whatever it is you want to accomplish.

These people are within their right to do whatever they want... makes absolutely no difference to me. If a person thinks it's important for them to buy deals, that's their business.

Guess all depends on who you are and where you live. Living on a small island with a population of almost 800,000, it would probably bother you. When it takes you an hour for whats normally a 10 minute drive, yea it makes a difference to me. It's 50 minutes each way wasted from my life.

Ry, you got the wrong guy here. I'm one of the few in this forum that is Doing and not talking. Trust me, a couple minutes worth of venting about the annoyance of black Friday isn't going to affect my goals in any way at all. Damn Black Friday!!! LOL

It was more a generalized statement. There just seems to be this idea floating around that fastlaners (or pretenders) are somehow better than everyone else.

Black Friday comes with a strong psychological component.

I've fall for it. After seeing a sound system at 50% for my laptop, I've decided to go out and buy it.

When I've reached there, I've decided that it's not worth it to waste the time in line.

So I've went into the nearest library (which was empty).

And this is what I've finally bought today ... at full price

I partook in Black Friday... online. Some great deals on items I had to buy anyways. =)

I didn't even bother trying to go out today... the traffic was terrible and every store had lines out the door. I decided to spend some quality time with family instead and got some work done.
