    Default Anyone own a Kindle?

If so, your thoughts? Im thinking about buying one. (Actually getting on the backorder list). I've read the reviews at Amazon and can't formulate an opinion quite yet.

I like the idea of being able to read blogs at the gym while I ride the elliptical bike as well as having all my books at one location. If I travel, I take one or two books - with Kindle I can take all of them.

Who has one and how ya like it?

Considered it, but without a trial run I wouldn't do it. Think about the gym though - how is sweat going to affect it? Where will you leave it when doing free weights

I'd lean towards a Sony eReader over the Kindle.
The Kindle is not other format friendly.
I heard talk about issues with reading PDF's, etc.

I've pretty much decided to go with a more multi-purpose machine
    rather than a dedicated eReader.
