RANT WARNING
I'm one of most emotionally un-reactive and laid back people around, but these one tiny thing thats reached a point where i feel the need to bring this up. I suppose i need reassurance that i'm not the only one to have noticed it.
Feel free to laugh
Everybody seems to think that their new startup, idea, technology, project or website is going to "disrupt" something nowadays.
The number of times i come across this word (disrupt/disruptive) when im reading something to do with business/entrepreneurship is pissing me off. Its so overused that it has started to annoy me. I see it multiple times a day, i swear. Is anyone else experiencing this ?
I want to create a thread to demonstrate how pervasive it is. Im not going to go out my way trying to prove my point, but im going to share a link here whenever i come across an article/interview/about page with the word. No doubt ill have plenty of them to share.
I just saw the thread on here about the apple touch watch on kickstarter, which was cool. But here it was again.
"Scott Wilson and his studio, MINIMAL, develop iconic, disruptive, brand-building products and end-to-end experiences."
