I'm disappointed Hat- here I was thinking that the post was gonna be about an early 80's 300SD playing a game of chicken with a tank and... winning!

In fact whenever my neighbor drives by in hers I hear that rumbling and knocking of the diesel engine and think to myself "there goes the tank"

I have been missing my W126's very badly. I'll probably get one next year, after I sell a house and have a lot of cash. I don't think I have the willpower to go much longer without one...

After having a few diesel W126's I'll probably get a gas. Unless I find a minty 350SD, they only made 2,400 of those and I'd snap one up in a heartbeat.



But what I really want is one of these. A period AMG car, with the 4 valve 6L V8... I'd love a 560SEC 6L Widebody, but I don't want to spend $60k on a MB just yet.

Great to see the mercedes get crushed. BMW is better anyways.

Whenever I see a Tank in anything (Films/TV) I always think of Sgt Bilko with the hover tank and the fake expolsions. Very strange, but I thought I would share.
