I like a variety of music but a few artists I've been listening to are Killswitch Engage, Theory of a Deadman, The Decemeberists, and Arcade Fire.
Killswitch is a hardcore/metal band while the rest are pretty mild bands that have some fun songs.
So, what artists/songs you listening these days?
I like Hinder.
Lifehouse has been one of my favorite groups for the past few years.
Anything new out there I should listen to? I'm listening....

As I get older I find myself listening to everything from rap, hard rock, classical, new age, top-pop 40 ...
However my standby favorites are Yanni and Tim Janis -- the music has very transformative power to make me feel high. I listen as much as I did a decade ago as the music transcends the days. It never gets old.
While I'll listen to some alternative rock playing on the radio today (I know, old fashioned), I still cling to "oldies" like Led Zeppelin, Lynard Skynard, pre-1980's Aerosmith, and the like. I'll even listen to my wife's Enia CD's from time to time.

Take my taste with a grain of salt as a good part of my childhood in the 90's my musical taste was influenced by Beavis and Butthead
But in reality it comes down to what sounds good at the moment, can't go wrong with ATB or Bon Jovi, but an example of "at the moment" I liked such songs as "Pokerface" and "Shake It", but after the 10th time or so they get old, but who knows maybe a few months down the road, it'll come on shuffle and I'll go "hey that sounds good".

Techno and trance mostly for my part. Hard Trance, Hardcore, Hands up etc. Everything with a good rythm.
Techno and trance has so many variances, it would suit many people. Much of it is remixes (could be remixes of songs from the 60's even. Remixes of regae songs etc) with a personal touch too. Slow and fast RPM music. Choose and pick.
had a blast with "Pokerface" on Saturday. fun.
Also laughed when dancing this other PITBULL LYRICS - Culo

And Jimmy Buffett! Damn Alan Jackson has a nice boat, looks like a Rybo. Buffett's music makes the drinks go down smoother sitting in the cockpit on a lazy summer day.

I should probably be listening to something inspiring like MJ, but alas I am eternally stuck on the Metal......all years, all types....70's through todays drop tune "cookie monster" stuff. And its (the music) getting "harder" as I get older. I have moments where I love jazz or some good blues....something mellow, but find the hard, heavy stuff still moves me.
btw.........YYZ - Rush is playing as I type this....
