What is the best website to get FREE stock photos?

I apologize if this thread already exist somewhere but I could not find it on the search engine if it does. I spent some time searching around and I had no luck so I figured it was time to start a thread.

What do you guys use for free stock photos and how have you liked it ?

I just signed up for shutter stock and I soon found out the subscription to use the photos is quite expensive. Spending that money will not be necessary since my site is just at the beginning stages up and it currently does not cash flow.

The photos on shutter-stock were excellent though. So if you are willing to pay check it out if you haven't yet.
