So I'm hitting a wall here,

I have all the backend figured out, marketing strategy, offers, etc, I have my USPs defined.

Now I need to change my homepage and make it appealing (clean, elegant and "new"), showcase the USPs in a few seconds while redirecting the user to the next step of the funnel (category or about us page).

I have some ideas on my mind on how to do it, but I can't witter them out clearly, nor make an usable/understandable sketch. And I'd prefer to give an idea of what I want to the designer, and have him do what he does best, creative work.

Fiverr isn't an option here, most work there needs to be completely defined before hand and even then you better order 3 or 4 gigs to different people just in case.

Going to a design company is out of my reach, they most likely ask in the 4 figures if not more, for a simple homepage concept/design.

My best next alternative is an website like Fiverr but with extended portfolio where I could select designers that worked on something similar to what I am looking for.

So my question is, does anyone know any good website for this, and what are your general recommendations and tips to outsource this kind of work.

Thanks in advance!

Tiago

I have been browsing dribbble.com for the past hour, found some great designers and lots of examples of what I need to get done.

I'm contacting some of the designers based on their portfolio.

One of the most important things to look for in a UX designer is their ability to explain how something works using layman’s terms.

The easiest way is to use Google and reach out to a couple of top names that appear in your search.
The second option is browsing through specialised websites where designers showcase their work, such as Behance or Dribble, as well as freelance platforms like Fiverr and Upwork.
When you find people whose work you like, run a background check on them to ensure that they’re really behind these designs.
