Hi

I've got an app idea and have started to plan it out with the costs to develop it and the costs to get it onto the app store but wandered if anyone had any good links to pages with pointers about starting an app or if anyone has already launched an app that is happy to have a chat about getting the ball rolling so to speak!

Thanks

I launched my first app by outsourcing the development for a grand total of $250. A year later its at 80,000+ downloads and dumps a small amount of money in my bank account every month.

I'd be happy to offer whatever guidance I can, answer any questions or just shoot the shit.

I wrote up a short article about my experience going from idea to app store here: http://benphilabaum.com/how-i-made-my-first-app-in-3-weeks-for-250-with-no-coding-skills/

Also I found this article as a useful overview when I was starting:

I posted a job on odesk a couple days ago for a graphic designer and got so many offers. I like where you put "include the answer to 2+2" haha. So it's probably best to outsource overseas? Did you have them file a NDA? Are NDA's even relevant if you're dealing with other countries? I'm just always afraid of having my idea stolen.
