It seems like the trend today is more of physical retail stores converting into online selling but has anyone successfully ever gone from selling online to selling in a physical retail store? It seems like the competition of selling online is very tough since there are sellers from all over the world at the same time offering very low prices. In a physical store you can sell at a higher price since it is not the same competition and their are always buyers who prefer buying retail. Anyone with these types of experience?

There's less competition, but you're more location dependent and have higher fixed costs to contend with. Plus, your offering has to be diverse enough to draw enough of a crowd in to maintain the stores. The more successful retail operations have a hybrid approach. Sell the most popular items in a retail store, but allow customers to order a product online and pick it up at the store.
