Gmails inbox change and email marketing conversion rates

Just curious, has anyone noticed any negative effects from Gmail changing their inbox around? Now people have to click the promotions tab to see your email marketing. It would seem this would hurt conversion rates, but I don't yet have enough traffic to tell.

Any thoughts would help.

Hi Curt - we didn't notice much on either our prospecting or current client email blasting. Our prospect emails are sent from our company gmail accounts; our current list is maintained by MailCheat(Chimp).
