Fastlane Fantasy Football; 2014/15 - Gloating Thread

Curious, is anyone interested in joining a 10/12 team league this year exclusively of Fastlaner's and their friends? I know this is somewhat of an incongruity (Fastlaner's don't bother with this shit!) and you'd be right. However some of us (including me) do have our vices, although I don't get emotionally involved in this stuff, I do find it to be a nice distraction on my Sunday.

If so, drop your name here and I can message you the league sign-up info.

As much as I love the fact there's anyone who wants to make it 12, I think a FF league is the kind of thing you're either all in or it doesn't quite work. I guess that's your decision.

On another forum I was in a small league last year and the admin made the mistake of using fillers who weren't really that interested. It ended up sabotaging the league with half the best players stuck on these autodrafted zombie teams.

We already have the elephant in the room that MJ is going to burst into tears if anyone else drafts Johnny Manziel.

You never have a sale UNTIL someone opens their wallet and pays.

I had 12 teams sign up. The deadline to pay the dues is today at 5PM. I sent 4 email reminders, nearly everyday. You know how many people paid up?

That said, I expect to be deleting teams today. If there are still people interested in playing, I will have spots open this evening.

So I'll point out that this may be an information channel problem instead of a "payment" problem:

* I created a Yahoo account solely for this league
* I did not remember to check the EMAIL account regularly, nor have I yet linked it with my main email account.
* I saw your post here, literally smacked my head, and paid the team dues.

Might I suggest that any major information or action items be posted to this thread? Since I'm subscribed to and receive email alerts about posts in this thread.

Can I mention on here that I know a fantasy football in my company pays each person for getting members to play fantasy football while they socialize and bet on a team then whoever wins, they get the pool jackpot (split up and stuff if like 4 people bet the same team and all win. It's like double pay (Win-win) here.

The only thing is they have to become a member to play and get paid for that by getting more members to play. It's a cool thing as a Social Entrepreneur
