eCommerce - whats the best email collection tool?

Hi guys,

I am taking over the web division for the company I work at and I am really trying to use it as a training ground to learn as much about commerce as possible

right now a ton of people are visiting out site and we get a lot of sales

but we do not have the thing that pops up and asks you if you want to receive emails

I don't even know where to start: Whats the best landing page email collection page? What do you guys recommend????

What software do you use for ecommerce?

Speaking about the e-mail collection tools I would recommend GetResponse or MailCheat(Chimp). But if you tell us more about your ecommerce engine, we may be able to give you more specific advice.
