I am using these as examples, not my actual business.

1) The Game Guy
2) Game Central

1 - easy to remember, more personable
2 - sounds like every other business name, nothing making it stick out from the rest

I am debating because I read a thread to never make a business about yourself because it will be hard to sell. If I try to sell the business The Game Guy, word gets out the original "game guy" isn't there anymore, lost of customer base. Person buying my business knows this and low balls me. So in my niche, there are lots of businesses with nearly identical names like example 2. What would you do?

Go with option 2 and make it stand out. That's your job after all ;)

Are your knowledge/skills as a "game guy" so unique that this would happen?

Don't waste too much time on this. Just make a decision and keep moving forward.
