I'm curious how you all feel about this- or if I read the commandment of time wrong....so I have a business idea but until I sell it I believe it will take up nothing but time to run it.

The idea is I want to provide HR and employee engagement solutions to mid-large sized businesses through an online system. Basic idea is you enter employee candidate information for example and it walks you through to process of hiring, on boarding, probation, training, etc. So basically, because this is a system you have to sell and maintain, it will take hours and hours of programming, then sales, then maintenance, etc.

Is this considered a fast lane business? It will not operate independent of my time. And is this a big deal?

you misread the commandment of time.

The point is to divorce the activity from YOUR time, not from SOMEBODY's time. Every business is going to take somebody's time to run.

I would be more concerned about the commandment of need in this case.

A proper intro thread would be in order, as well.

Interesting.
Just a bit of background on the project, I work in hr and employee engagement. My employers pay me 70K a year to implement systems for them- intranets that allow them to better manage their employees throughout multiple branches. Businesses of all sizes are beginning to realize they cannot compete with the big dogs without putting a focus on employees and proper hiring, on boarding, training, management, it leads to better customer service. So my plan is to automate this system so it's open-ended, any business can sign up and use it, tailor it to their needs.

And I obviously have many ways to make it better and add value over the other options who provide services like this.
