Who is going to the DCBKK Meet up in Bangkok? I'll be there for at least one week from Oct. 12. We need to have a Fastlane meetup in Bangkok while we're there. I'll spearhead it.

I am. Bangkok is only a 4 hour flight from Bali and less than $100. Flying around Asia is cheap.

This is a big meetup of 250 entrepreneurs - going to be life changing.

But I wanted to see which Fastlaners were going and schedule an impromptu meetup. I know a couple of us are going.

Or we can hit a open air beer garden with a larger and international food selection.

Something chill, relaxed where we can just sit and talk for a bit. Nothing too loud (like a bar/club).

Below it is the outdoor beer garden area with a lot of food options that I talked about earlier. Noise is reasonable unless stuck next to the band and grabbing a table shouldn't be a problem

I recommend Lubua Towers,
It's epic.

Stayed there for a bit last Nov, didn't ever want to leave that view at the top.
Nice and quiet too.

That's the plan. Just got to find something that sticks to bring in the bacon. Been out of AM for quite a while and finding it hard to get something meaningful in the black.

Let's do this. It's near a Skytrain/BTS station too. I don't mind paying a bit extra for the view.

We are staying at the Conrad hotel for the event near Lumphini Park.

It's located right beside Phrakhanong BTS station.

Popped in there tonight. Its being renovated at the moment but as far as I can tell they're keeping the same type of seating at the perimeter.

Prices have come down as well. was way overpriced for the area.

Just send me a head count a couple days prior and I'll make sure that we can grab a table.

The place is normally slow but since the name change, price drop, and advertising push in the area it may start to get a bit busier.

Is the plan to stay there for a couple of hours or meet up there for a drink or two and then head down stairs to the beer garden (open air area with 15+ restaurants to choose from)?

Either night. Do you have to be up early the 16th for DCBKK? If you'd like to stay out a bit then 14th may be better. It doesn't matter to me just let me know by the 13th.
