Aliba IPO

Is anyone taking advantage of Aliba IPO? It seems like one of the biggest! What’s the best way to take part with little capital? Spread betting? Binary options? CFD?

They're giving the company a $155 Bil valuation which is pretty insane. Facebook was valued at 100 Bil when they went public. Alibaba does almost $10 Bil in revenue though. I'm excited to see how this turns out!

I personally don't invest in a stock when there is hype/excitement surrounding it- I've done it before and it has never worked out well for me. For me, Alibaba has too much hype.

Not much to add, other than Jack Ma is one interesting fellow.

When I buy, I hold for the long term, so IPOs I'm not crazy about unless I intend to keep it around.

Looks like the IPO opened up at $92.70/share.

I'm shocked to be honest. Maybe them being public now will force them to clean up and get rid of all the counterfeiters and wholesalers pretending to be manufacturers.
