Time to shift gears.

Every Sunday/Monday I'll post what I am doing in the upcoming week – this thread is about the ACTION that I am taking to move my business forward. I'll also try to share throughout the week any updates, insights, or lessons that I need to get out on paper (or on screen) and consolidate.

My goal is to generate 15k/month revenue by December 2015 with my businesses. As of now, I only have my one business, but I'm looking start a SaaS business later this year, contingent that I am able to automate my current one (more on that later).

My current business is a video production company. The process and systems I have put in place have been validated by others before me. I'd rather not get into too much detail, and truth be told, I'm not even close to the 15k/month just yet, but growing it over the next year, I can see how it is attainable.

I'm completely humbled by some of these progress threads and seeing how much people have accomplished. If anyone has any questions or constructive criticisms to help me move forward, feel free to post below as I would love to hear your opinion. I'm all ears and here to learn. Hopefully I can make this thread as inspiring as some of the ones I've come across in this awesome forum.

Week 1 Review

What I did well:
  1. Pushed myself in learning new methods of lead generation
  2. Used new brief acquisition method
  3. Learned new cold emailing tactics
  4. Was able to be more strict on my boundaries on spending time with unproductive people. Allowing myself to be more polarizing so I can focus on my business.
What I can improve on:
  1. Being more PROACTIVE. Taking action that will yield real results.
  2. Lessening action fakes. DRAMATICALLY.
  3. Pushing hard to complete my tasks for this week instead of "kind of working towards finishing it." Being more disciplined and compulsive about getting certain things done.
Would love to hear anyone's take or advice on how I can tighten up my boundaries and become relentlessly more proactive.
