Hello All!

I wanted to quickly introduce myself and also get your opinion on a strategy I heard MJ talk about in an interview and have heard from other entrepreneurs.

So, about me- My name is Trey, I'm 25 from Alberta Canada. Since I was 19 I've worked in marketing (after getting a 2 year diploma) but found a great niche as I specialize highly in internal marketing and branding with an HR and training spin. Some of the things I do in my career are build mission and vision statements, create internal branding, train managers how to hire and onboard, and build systems that manage an employees engagement from hiring and throughout their career. I have built 2 proprietary online employee management systems before for various employers. I am in the early steps of building an online automated system to help businesses on this front through effective systems I've seen work.

The problem I'm trying to solve is that I want to make it easier for medium-large sized businesses to manage their corporate culture, hiring, training, etc through an automated system - systems that typically only HUGE companies can afford to create for their own use only. I personally know the effects of these practices in boosting profitability for a business by engaging employees- and I know through various associations I'm part of that there are a good amount of medium sized businesses looking to take stronger control of their corporate culture and training especially considering the generational differences with employees.

The only thing is, most people don't think of using an online system in their head at first- they think of hiring an hr or corporate culture consultant. Now this brings me to my question-

I heard an interview of MJ talking about how some people have created websites for their products before they are created and will track how many people try to sign up or buy. I'm curious what all of your experience is with gauging the need for your business, to what extent have you gone or should you go - as obviously some products need to be seen to understand.
