I am taking a cruise on the world's largest cruise ship in early February. As long as MJ doesn't screw the dates up again this year, I'm in.

The old forum software had a lot more emoticons. I guess maybe that's a good change. However, there were several vile ones I enjoyed posting from my early days on the forum.

He looked at me and smiled.

He said "We'll do everything we talked about. Then I will give you a bill. If I didn't save you way more than the bill, then don't pay it and we will go our separate ways. A good CPA is never an expense. Our job is to save you way more than you would ever pay us."

If you are worried about the nominal cost of this meetup, or agonizing over the cost of the hotel, the airfare, or your need to get off of work for a few days, leave the ticket for someone else and vow to look this opportunity up at the same time again next year.

There's only so many seats, it will sell out in the course of a few hours (or less) ---and the people that should be there know they need to be there as much as they need to breathe. The "cost" is a fraction of what you will take away.

If last year is any indication the tickets would go on sale first part January. I don't remember the cost. Was it $395?

That was me for the first several years of B&P. I was dealing with surviving shit and just wasn't in the head space. But I kept tabs on the event because I was changing my mindset and finally pulled the trigger, last year.

I met some incredible people - I owe a bunch of you some shout outs - who engaged me in some heavy conversation that had me thinking about ideas and concepts in a whole new way. @Eskil - I owe you a phone call. We have a lot to catch up on!

I can't describe the experience of driving the 6 hours to Scottsdale from L.A, knowing: I didn't have to punch anyone's clock, business took care of itself...not skipping a beat in my absence, my family was ok and that I gave myself permission to take this trip when I quit working for an a$$ wipe owner less than a year earlier. It was, in short -

A beautiful feeling!

I plan to attend Fastlane Meetup 2016. For Pete's sake I downloaded Tapatalk to keep up with this thread and I can't F*ckin' stand apps. (No offense to all you app guys and gals out there!)
