Don't Be Frustrated When Things Don't Work Out

Every time something happens in your business that
causes you frustration...you should be happy

Because that means that your competition is
also going through your exact problem also

Now, it starts becoming about who can withstand
the "mental punches" of business and continue testing
and tweaking until you get to the point where you're
making the kind of money you want

I've recently reenter the dating niche and have problems
gaining traffic...Google & Facebook don't allow offers
that advertise dating tips

Also there aren't that many email list built in the dating
niche...I'm assuming since building the damn thing
was so hard in the first place...the last thing they want
to do is let someone else borrow it

Which means, it's going to be hard to get a hold of someone
who would be willing to email my offer for money

At first all these things got me frustrated but
then it made me happy

I realize that my competition couldn't also advertise
through those mediums...and this builds a barrier
to entry

So if you're feeling stuck in your particular business
whether that's traffic, product creation, USP, offer, etc

Realize that this frustration is also what keeps the competition at bay

Sorry, but I disagree.
It could be difficult entry, but more likely it's poor execution.

For example, there's already a guy with a shaven head dominating the dating/pua niche.
He goes by the name Style, and he's no money problems.
What separates you from him?

If I tried to sell Cola and nobody buys it, does that mean nobody buys Coke and Pepsi either?

Hmm...well they sure don't stop me from posting relationship advice e-books on those sites, with links everywhere inside the e-book. And I suppose if you opened a group on face-book they all gravitate towards there. And here's an idea. I see a lot of them congregating in those 16 personality type groups, and you start relationship groups for each of them if the sites will let you. They're always talking about who knows whether Infp and Estj don't go together etc. lol Or how do you handle my Enfp boy friend or Intj girlfriend. If you have your own group even on divorce, they all flock together, or whatever niche. I read them all the time so I know what books to write. lol

I disagree as well. Barrier to entry is what keeps people from competing with you in the first place. It is not what holds back your competitors.

OP's post is about mindset. Any business process involves a series of obstacles and when you encounter one that frustrates you, realize that your competitors have faced the same obstacle; some overcame it (why not you too?) and others gave up (obstacles are there to keep the soft out).

No man gets more than 24 hours in a day. Whatever you're trying to achieve has already been done by someone before you. Here's Marcus Aurelius from almost 20 centuries ago:

"Because your own strength is unequal to the task, do not assume that it is beyond the powers of man; but if anything is within the powers and province of man, believe that it is within your own compass also."

tl;dr If one man can do it you can do it.

Not only business matters, but even at the work place due to hierarchial office politics, we tend to get frustrated.

I really like that quote!
