Tip:
Avoid mind numbing TV programs like "Kitchen Nightmares". So much fake and bad acting there.

I'm curious to go there and try it myself (personal experience).

It's true that things like the Kitchens Nightmares episode tend to show a dramatized side of things for the sake of viewership. At the same time, it's all based on some truth. I had a friend whose wedding was featured in a reality show about weddings (it was a local show) and they twisted most of everything that was said or happened for the sake of the show.

As far as for the business practices, they are just approached the wrong way. There is no way a customer can comfortable good about choosing their establishment if others say bad things about them (and not in a joking way such as http://www.bottobistro.com/ )

Lastly, as people they were horrible. It would be impossible to collaborate with them in any capacity. Not only were both Samy and Amy not willing to listen to customers, but they were unable to listen to and work with each other. Employees / bosses should have a professional as well as some personal bond in order to work successfully and we saw none of that there. The success of customer support in any business should not be underestimated. That's why we created a support software called Helprace [link removed]. It can be seen with Amy and Samy's example: if the product is good, a few people might buy it. But great service and putting in an extra step will reward you with customers for life & introduce you to life-changing relationships.
