Get out there and do it... yeah, I have this problem of over thinking and under doing.

I like the attitude Cuban promotes here, you don't need a mentor, you don't need help, you just need to start trying.

Interesting he says college grads tend to think they need help.

Maybe it's another learned helplessness people get from going to college; more years being taught by people, being instructed to do something, getting the deadline from someone else to do something that's actually supposed to be your best interest, being in the system where it's bad to fail and even shameful to try again. It makes sense that a background like this would trigger someone to be afraid of making mistakes, feel the need of having a superior, can't take the responsibility, and so on.

We need to just break through our own limitation, differentiate which ones are only illusions on our mind, be aware of our weaknesses and biases, and just keep going while still paying attention to what's going on.

The problem with hearing this all the time, you get like me, where you stop all together and don't ask for anyone's opinion, or help on anything, because you've heard it so much, Help your self. And in a business world you may have to work as a team, but if you're so self-reliant and independent, it can get in your way and progress.

Trying and failing is too long and too hard, I want instant results, not the process of going though it might make me learn something, so why should I go out there and "do" it? I want it "done" already!

Too bad, no person or even business can success with this kind of thinking, real wealth is build though a long period of time of hard work and risk taking, the longer it takes the longer it will last, wealth gained in a flash of a second can be lost in the flash of a second as well.
